Third session with Dolores Insa. On this occasion, has dedicated the first part to distinguish between different concepts in order to improve the efficiency of our searches on the Internet. This has been going through categories such as websites, search engines (several have been compared with its various possibilities and such as using Google operators. See, for example, http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google ), rings, metasearch (eg. Metacrawler or Fazzle ) metadirectory ( Buscopio , ...), Dmoz guides ( WebClip ), databases, invisible on the Internet ( http://www.internetinvisible.com/ii/ ) or blogs. It is important to know what we seek and adopt suitable strategies to it as both our level of knowledge or expertise.
A second part of the session has been directed to resources directly related to reading, finding both books and documentation relating to them. In this sense we have highlighted three sites worth visiting in some detail, checking the enormous educational potential and in many other respects:
